Generalities

Spanish is one of the most popular languages among language learners. Currently, about 20 million people study it in one form or another. It is a great-sounding language, widely used, and has many other advantages, making this language one of the most prominent options available. By most estimates, Spanish is the mother tongue of more than 400 million people around the world, which is roughly equivalent to six percent of the world's population. As a result, it is officially recognized as the second most spoken language in the world, in terms of native speakers, ahead of English. This program is of great interest to all those who wish to learn to speak Spanish as a second language and who are also interested in learning about the culture of Costa Rica and Latin America.

General objetive
